Talk Shop, a full-service, integrated communications agency, is expanding their digital team with the addition of a Digital Account Manager. Leaders in traditional media relations, social media and experiential marketing, we work with brands looking to engage consumers, media, digital and influencer marketing differently.

The Digital Account Manager will join Talk Shop’s most rapidly growing division, contributing not only to client objectives, but the growth of this arm of the business. The person in this role will lead digital content strategy for a portfolio of clients, manage workflow and client communications, and oversee a team of digital executers.

Successful candidates will have a strong background in digital content strategy, ideally in an agency setting or for a national brand. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multi-faceted business environment and be comfortable in the “grey” are a must. Excellent copy writing and editing skills, a strategic brain, and a passion for staying current with digital trends are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee digital content strategy for a portfolio of clients including: social media audits, channel strategy/content plans, visual asset recommendations, and ongoing content calendars
  • Oversee production of visual assets for all digital clients (photo/ video/ graphics)
  • Assist Digital Account Coordinators with execution as needed
  • Day-to-day management of Digital Account Coordinators – workflow management, content planning, editing, support and guidance as required
  • Oversee client services for all digital clients – client communications, check-in, reporting, etc.
  • Oversee paid digital strategy recommendations for all clients
  • Liaise between core PR account teams and digital team
  • Monthly reporting to clients

Required Skills/Experience

  • 3 – 4 years of social media/digital marketing experience
  • 2+ years’ experience developing and leading digital content strategy
  • Strong copy writing skills
  • Knowledge of paid digital ad strategy
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Client/service oriented – experience working in an agency setting considered an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple team members, client relationships, and internal projects
  • Experience with organizational and team performance management
  • Ability to add structure and prioritize issues
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail
  • Photography/videography skills considered an asset

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be dependent on relevant experience. After 3 months of employment, the individual will be entitled to Talk Shop’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes:
