As the Office Administrator at Talk Shop, you will work to support the team to ensure smooth, day-to-day operations of the office, serve as the ultimate organizer and keeper of details for the agency, and handle general administration, accounting and technology for the business.

The Talk Shop Office Manager will join a tight-knit and dedicated team in an open, collaborative, and creative workplace. A fun, positive attitude combined with a proven administrative ability, will provide the potential for our Office Manager to play a key role in exciting plans for future growth and development within Talk Shop.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration + IT

  • Manage all general office administration
  • Liaising with all office vendors
  • Maintaining all office files
  • Manage all company account passwords, logins and vendor accounts
  • Manage company website and email accounts
  • Oversee all company laptops and laptop use
  • Troubleshooting basic office technology needs
  • Managing/organizing all office supplies – ensuring office cleanliness
  • Working directly with Talk Shop leaders to assist with internal company marketing and sales efforts
  • Preparation + Management of company contracts with clients

HR + Team Culture

  • Working directly with Talk Shop leaders to assist with company culture initiatives (planning staff outings, annual staff retreats, events etc.)
  • Management of Team efficiency
  • Assisting the VP of Operations on recruiting and on-boarding of new employees
  • Payroll administration
  • Management of Team Group Health plan
  • Development + implantation of company policies
  • Managing staff schedules and calendars
  • Managing team vacations

Value Ad Skills

  • A background or interest in PR/marketing
  • Basic Accounting or Bookkeeping highly valued

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be dependent on relevant experience. After 3 months of employment, the individual will be entitled to Talk Shop’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes:
