Blueprint Events

Who’s craving a chicken taco? If you weren’t before, we’re sure you will after viewing the recipe shared by Chef Kieran Kearns of Blueprint in The Food Gays Blog. Kieran is Regional Chef for Blueprint’s Vancouver bars including The Charles Bar, Colony, Bismarck and The Dover Arms.

Browns Socialhouse

Browns Restaurant Group was featured in the Canadian Business Franchise magazine announcing the opening of three new Socialhouses as well as the franchise’s plans for future growth. Browns has secured real estate for 15 more Socialhouse openings across five provinces, and is set to have more than 40 locations by the end of 2014.

Cressey Development Group

Cressey’s latest project, Cadence, was featured in the Vancouver Sun in relation to the growth of the City Centre in Richmond. Cadence will be a mixed-use development with commercial retail space including a Steve Nash Fitness gym. The residence will include a daycare centre and subsidized housing, which were key to pushing the development forward.

Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital

In response to President Obama’s announcement of new carbon regulations, Co-founder of Chrysalix EVC, Wal van Lierop, was featured on BNN to discuss the predicted impact of the regulations on oil, gas, and cleantech, as well as what they indicate for the overall direction of resources in the United States.

Intergulf Development Group

Long-standing Vancouver real estate developer Intergulf Development Group was included in a Globe and Mail article, as Vice President Shaadi Faris commented on the recent stats released by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. Mr. Faris also discusses the immigrant investor program shutdown, prices for detached homes, and the Coquitlam condo market.

The Cottages have adapted to this demand by offering different floor plans with more square footage and amenities like a garage, in order to cater to this demographic.

Strathcona Business Improvement Area

Strathcona BIA’s “Made in Strathcona” tours offered a look into some of the area’s hidden gems including AGRA Roasters, The Butler Did it Catering, YEW Woodshop, Christine Lingerie, and Vancouver Urban Winery. The tours were featured in over 20 news outlets including WE Vancouver, Business in Vancouver, The Rush, and Breakfast Television.

Sotheby’s International Realty Canada

The Globe and Mail released a story on Sotheby’s plans to double their presence in Calgary, due to the city’s growing number of luxury property sales. The luxury real estate corporation plans to entice wealthy homebuyers into the Calgary area with private jet services.
