For over 38 years, Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium have provided camping experiences for children and families affected by childhood cancer. Amid COVID-19, the camp shifted to providing virtual events, experiences, and care packages for children. To help fund this shift in programming, Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium launched their Gifts of Magic campaign and came to Talk Shop looking for a partner to assist in paid and organic social media support to launch the first year of their Gifts of Magic holiday fundraising campaign to support virtual program funding and development.

A custom paid social media strategy looked to expand Camp Ooch and Camp Trillium’s donor base, increase awareness about the foundation and drive donations. With Talk Shop’s revised ad strategy and organic social media support, Camp Ooch and Camp Trillium recorded the highest number of first-time donors in the history of both organizations expanding their donor base significantly. Through these efforts, Talk Shop generated over 600,000 impressions and helped Camp Ooch and Camp Trillium exceed their fundraising goal by $34,0000.
