Taste of Yaletown


For 10 consecutive years, the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA), has turned to our agency to help create excitement around the 10-day dining experience. Each year, we take a slightly new approach to our campaign strategy. With the rise in popularity of Buzzfeed’s Tasty videos and the growing demand for visual content, we produced five Tasty-style videos named “In a Yaletown Minute” to showcase the different menu options from various restaurants. These videos were completed for the launch of Taste of Yaletown and were provided for use on the YBIA website, restaurant websites and across all social media channels.

The videos attracted over 5K views on all platforms and more than 572 comments, shares and likes. From our efforts Taste of Yaletown garnered over 30M public impressions and 65 pieces of media coverage across online, print and broadcast mediums. Year over year since bring engaged initially, an average of 13 media sponsors are brought on board.
