General Assembly Pizza, a restaurant turned omni-channel DTC brand, was looking for a national PR firm to partner with who understood the cross-section between food/hospitality and technology. Talk Shop was their agency of choice, we supported General Assembly’s new product launches, partnerships, regional expansions and their go public strategy for getting on the TSXV. Over the course of the partnership, Talk Shop provided ongoing strategic counsel, media relations strategies, influencer campaigns/concepts and thought leadership opportunities.
Over the course of six months, Talk Shop was able to secure 85 traditional media placements across print, online, and broadcast mediums, resulting in over 100M in public impressions. Over 20+ influencer partnerships were secured for various campaigns (Muskoka launch, Ottawa launch, always-on influencer) really cementing the brand in the Ontario media landscape. This organically garnered millions of social media impressions and engagement.
