When US-based supplement firm, Chromadex, secured a distribution deal for its product Tru Niagen, they turned to Talk Shop to support the brand’s Canadian launch and brand building. Talk Shop was tasked with creating cut-through in the noisy supplements market without losing sight of a publicly held firm’s compliance and careful approach. Following successful media launch events in Vancouver and Toronto, Talk Shop developed a PR program. This program leveraged Canadian spokespeople, survey data, and product-focused stories to land coverage in traditional media outlets. This approach was combined with a robust influencer campaign to build brand awareness within multiple media touchpoints.
Following our initial launch partnership, Chromadex signed Talk Shop as the company’s Canadian agency of record. In our time together post-launch, Talk Shop secured 93 pieces of media coverage in outlets including Daily Hive, Edit 7, Yahoo News, Healthy is Hot, Ottawa Life Magazine, Fairchild TV, Breakfast Television, and CityNews. Additionally, we secured over 50 influencer partners for the brand resulting in social coverage across the country.
