Copeman Healthcare Centres offer advanced medical clinics in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary and care for over 12K clients in Western Canada. The company’s growth plan was robust with goals to expand services both regionally and nationally, deliver unparalleled levels of patient care and preventative healthcare services to more Canadians, and ultimately be acquired by Telus Health. Talk Shop was brought on to execute a traditional media relations campaign that positioned Copeman Healthcare as leaders in the health and wellness space, continuing to drive awareness around the clinics’ unique offerings.
By establishing clarity around Copeman Healthcare’s services to individuals, corporate clients and families, through carefully curated messaging, we were able to effectively garner over 230 pieces of media coverage (a 300% increase in coverage from the year before), reaching an audience of over 240 million across Copeman’s various geographic regions in 2019. This included broadcast coverage on Global News, CBC, Fairchild, CityNews, and a regular segment on CTV. Copeman Healthcare’s brand positioning was accurately reflected in all media coverage. As a result of media coverage, Copeman Healthcare extended its partnership with Talk Shop, and in 2020, we secured nearly 300 pieces of media coverage.
