The Yaletown Business Improvement Association approached Talk Shop to promote three events, Taste of Yaletown, CandyTown and Kissmas, generating awareness for Yaletown businesses. Talk Shop was tasked with securing high-profile, earned media coverage ahead of these events.

Talk Shop’s work with YBIA drove awareness to these three events, generating over 21M impressions, 2.3M social media impressions and 51 total media hits, including broadcast coverage at CandyTown from CTV and Global News.
Of particular note was the success of the influencer and media preview event ahead of CandyTown. Talk Shop hosted 18 influencers and media at a Sip and Shop event to preview CandyTown’s cocktail tour. The event received substantial interest from both influencers and media representatives, resulting in 1.3M social media impressions.
