HJU:Z Lounge

We were brought on to launch HJU:Z Lounge in Vancouver’s Westin Bayshore Hotel. Our strategy was designed to align with the art-deco and Howard Hughes-inspired concept of the lounge, build excitement leading up to the launch as well as to plan and execute a memorable grand opening event. Our multi-level campaign included an intimate influencer sneak peek that offered select top food influencers to be the first to experience the food and cocktails prior to the opening, a VIP media experience that included a seaplane tour of Vancouver’s iconic Coal Harbour and a first glance of the lounge and its offerings, and lastly, a luxe grand opening event complete with contortionists, actors, live musical entertainment, and a plethora of food and drinks to attract target clientele and generate buzz and interest amongst local Vancouver press and influencers. Throughout our engagement, we also developed the HJU:Z website, social channels and guided all photography and videography.

The multi-level campaign garnered 30+ pieces of positive media coverage from both influencers and traditional outlets including Georgia Straight, Westender, Vancouver Magazine, Vancouver Courier, Daily Hive and Metro Vancouver. The event drew a total of 250 + media and VIP guests which included local celebrities, top-tier media and Vancouver’s high-net worth elite. Our efforts generated 840+ social followers across all platforms.
