Headquartered in Vancouver, Instant Financial developed an app providing employees with daily access to their hard-earned money. Instant Financial wanted a PR partner to boost brand awareness throughout North America, increase web traffic to the site, and generate sales leads. Knowing that success would come only after we educated a diverse audience of business leaders, restaurant operators, HR professionals and hourly employees who were end consumers, we suggested a strategy that included both media relations and social media. Within the media, trade titles were targeted first to build buzz and credence amongst industry experts. Next, we targeted wider-reaching US top tier outlets with business audiences. On social, we developed a brand persona that embodied the values and mission of Instant Financial while appealing to the multiple audiences identified. Tactics such as contests and online engagement efforts were used to drive followers and boost online interaction.
We secured 55 trade, regional and business media hits with a total audience of over 179M+. Coverage included USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Cheddar, American Banker, Workforce, Vancouver Sun and CBC. From the coverage earned, a debate sparked on radio and TV stations across North America and Instant witnessed a significant jump in inbound leads, customer acquisition, along with traffic to the website. Social media results included a total reach of 112K+,1595 new likes and an increase of 11K followers across all channels.
