Structurlam, a trusted mass timber manufacturer with over 50 years of history, had undergone a period of substantial innovation, as the company shifted towards application of technology such as 3D modeling and robotics in the manufacturing of cross-laminated timber and glue laminated panels. The team approached us to help position the brand change perceptions and educate key audiences on the benefits of using of mass timber. To achieve these goals, we created an all-encompassing marketing and communications strategy that involved a complete brand refresh, website redesign, marketing collateral creation, media relations strategy, traditional and digital marketing and event strategy, to key markets including BC, Alberta and the West Coast of the United States.
In month one, we worked with a partnering ad agency to deliver a complete company rebrand and key marketing assets, including a video and presentation collateral. Within the span of five months, 30 pieces of media coverage was secured in target mainstream and trade/industry publications, generating over 6M public impressions. Over six months, we drove a complete website redesign to improve the functionality, aesthetics and SEO of the site. Lastly, we took over management and launched Structurlam’s social media channels, growing the channels organically by 20% in two months.
